This year’s Dreamforce is all about Agentforce. If you thought Salesforce had already gone all-in on AI, you haven’t seen anything yet.
In addition to multiple announcements regarding the new Agentforce platform, Salesforce has teased a game-changing offer—free premium instructor-led courses and AI certifications throughout 2025. This bold move is part of a broader $50 million investment aimed at upskilling workforces and closing the AI skills gap.
While full details have yet to be disclosed, Salesforce has confirmed that these premium AI courses and certifications will be available at no cost via Trailhead by the end of 2025. Speculation is rife that this could mean the AI Associate and AI Specialist certifications, currently priced at $75 and $200 respectively, may soon be free.
Furthermore, Salesforce hinted at "premium instructor-led training," potentially suggesting that AI-focused Trailhead Academy courses could become accessible to everyone in the ecosystem.
Why Is Salesforce Doing This?
This initiative is part of a broader strategy, as Salesforce has started establishing AI Centers worldwide to train both its internal teams and the wider community. Launched in June with the AI Center in London, these centers will soon appear in cities like Chicago, Tokyo, Sydney, and even a pop-up location in San Francisco.
These spaces will host premium in-person courses while bringing together industry experts, partners, and customers to collaborate. This initiative is designed to elevate the entire Salesforce ecosystem, addressing the growing demand for AI skills and expertise while focusing attention on Salesforce’s evolving product lineup, which includes Copilot Studio, Data Cloud, and the newly announced Agentforce.
Summary
Having been a leader in AI for nearly a decade, Salesforce is now reinforcing its message across the ecosystem and beyond, ensuring that everyone—from partners to customers—is ready to embrace the next wave of AI innovation.
